Community Engagement

In Spring 2024, the Mendocino Coast Health Care District board members scheduled a series of community meetings to learn directly from Coast residents how they can support healthy communities on the Coast by ensuring continuous, accessible, high-quality sustainable health care.

Check back soon for a summary of the feedback collected during those meetings.

On May 30, 2024, the MCHCD Board hosted a Community Health Forum to share information on the state of Health Care on the Mendocino Coast. The event featured a detailed analysis of data on the health status of our community from a report composed by the California Center for Rural Policy (CCRP), Cal-Poly Humboldt.

Following the presentation of the data by CCRP, key community health leaders shared their perspective on the data in a panel discussion. At the conclusion of the presentation the public was invited to participate in a Q&A with the panelists.
